It is difficult to live in snowy region, but with certain qualities help animals to live easily. They have long hairs thick fur help them to keep body warm. White and grey fur help them to camouflague with snowy background.

Arctic Fox
Arctic foxes live in Coldest places in world. Their thick fur keep them warm at the temperature of 104 degree Fahrenheit. They have long tail that work as a blanket when they sleep. They have special paws that are natural snow shoes. They also change their colour according to season. In summer their fur become grey or brownish and become thin. They have many tricks for hunter or to save himself from predators. They make many tunnels under snow. If small animals are not left they prey on birds or follow bears to eat remaining part of bear prey. They travel many distance in order to find food. They have short lifespan in wild. The have very impeccable sense of hearing. They can hear sound of steps of animals from great distance.
Arctic Wolf
Arctic wolfs are smaller then grey wolfs. They have small ears and short nose that lose less heat from their body. Their extra layer of fur not only work as heater but they can also store food for later use. They also play role in controlling growth of animals. Their are great hunters. They hunt together by following the lead of Alpha Male. Their is always a large male that is leader of the group. They are very social and like to live in groups. Polar's Bear are their predators. Wolfs can't find food easily they can travel distance of 2600 sq km. The arctic wolfs talk with their urine. They have puppy sitter. Arctic Wolfs have great sense of smell. They can smell their prey 1.6 km away. They can smell way of passed animal three days ago. The average life of wolf's is about 17 years.
Polar Bear

Polar bears are classified as marine mammals. A polar bear skin is actually black. Polar bears are great bears and have no natural predator. They are most powerful Carnivores. They have no fear from humans and are much dangerous. Only 2% hunt of polar bears became successful. They have large feet that distribute their body weight while walking on snow and swimming. They spend most of their time in swimming. They are 7 to 8 feet long. Scientist can extract polar bears DNA from their foot prints. The babies of polar bears are so cute due to fluffy and thick white fur. They are intelligent. They have strong smell of humans waste, dogs, saved food. They give great risks to humans life. Polar bears have slender body, long neck, sharp teeth that helps them to cut thick meal. They have threat from climate change. It destroy their population on large scale.
Snowy Owl
Snowy Owls are known for their great hunting abilities. They have long wings which help them to glide silently or with same acceleration. They hunt almost all the times of day. They caught all the small things in their way like, birds, squirrels and hares. Like other arctic animals they also regulate their body temperature. They have large and thick feathers that cover their whole body and protect them from cold breeze. Other owls are considered as bad luck but snowy owl is considered as a good luck due to its bright colour. They have very strong eye view that they can see a mouse 300 feet away. They have very long lifespan of 28 years. They are colour blind, but some researchers said that they have green-blue range of spectrum. They also have very strong sense of hearing, they hear the prey moving under the snow.
Arctic Hare
Arctic hares are longer then common hares. They have long claws on its hind legs that helps them to dig quickly in snow. The arctic hare has long teeth then common hares. They usually live in holes to keep warm their body. They also known for their communal behaviour. They gather in large groups to share heat and to defeat predators. Arctic hares have black eyelashes that protect their eye's from glare. Due to their eye placement they can 360 degree without turning their head. They change their fur colour according to the weather. They prey on woody plants, mouses which they find during digging.
Musk Ox
Musk ox's are large animals with huge head, short neck, short legs and large furry body. Their name came from their superficial resemblance to the ox but they are not related to cattle. They are also known for their outstanding intelligence. They quickly learn the daily routine of farm and even know how to open gate and how to pick a lock. They are herbivores. Musk ox have soft brownish hairy fur which protects them from cold breeze. The wool of musk ox is the warmest conductor. The are very friendly with humans but always keep distance because they are wild animal. They live in groups. One group consist of 2-3 dozen members.
