Lion: King Of Big Cats

Lion is the king of jungle. They have strong, compact bodies and have very powerful legs and jaws that helps them to pull down their prey. They have long hairs on their neck that make their look more frowning. These hairs are known as MANE. Their coats are yellow_gold. An adult lion have brownish skin. They hunt during storm. They live in groups known as pride. Male lion guard their cubs. Female are main hunter. Lion roar can be heard up to 8 kilometres. Mostly Lions sleep during day and hunt at night. Lions are king because they are fearless and take risks to achieve their goal. Lions are much loyal with their family and with their pride.
Tiger

Tiger is the largest cat among all cats. They have large body, sharp teeth, powerful paws. They are very powerful hunters. A punch from a tiger may kill a human. Tigers have powerful muscular body, large head, long tail and orange body with black vertical stripes. They love to swim and play with water. They have strong legs and soft paws that helps to hunt silently. A tiger will travel 10 to 12 miles in night during hunting. A tiger can run with the speed of 48 to 68 km/h. During this great speed their stripes can work as the camouflage.
Leopard
Leopards are the smallest among big cats. Leopards have black spots on their fur which are called rosettes. These are seem to be rose flower. Leopards like to spend time on trees. They also stay on tree in track of their prey. They are very fast in running. They can jump 10 feet straight during running. They live alone. Male and female leopards mate after 5 to 6 days. Male don't evolve in their child growing. Leopards can't roar like lions and other cats they communicate in a specific call. They eat almost all the things in their way. If animals are not in range they can hunt birds.
Jaguar

Jaguar is the third biggest cat in the world after lion and tiger. They have a unique name which comes from indigenous word Yaguar, that means one who kills in one leap. Jaguar are look like leopards but you can easily differentiate between them. Unlike other domestic cats Jaguars don't avoid water. They like to live in wet environments. They also found as swimming in rivers and lakes. Jaguars can be roar. They have strong bite among other big cats. They have strong teeth that can bite on shell of crocodile.
Cheetah

Cheetah is the fastest land mammal. They can up to 110 km/h. They are built to run. They have strong and slim muscular body that helps them to have large strides. Their long legs helps them to run fast. Cheetah can't roar, they can MEOW'S. Their eyes play very vital role in hunting. Their eyes give them a very sharp and wide view of their surrounding. They have natural camouflage.
Cougar

Cougar is the fourth largest cat in world. They have long legs that helps them to take a long leap. Their long tail enable balance. They can take leap of 40 feet horizontally and 18 feet vertically in a single jump. They run with the speed of 64 to 80 km/h. They are also known for their intelligence. After they hide their prey with leaves and bushes and store it for later use. They can't roar but they can PURR and MEOW. They are well hidden animals.
Snow Leopard

Snow leopards have spotted white_greyish fur which keeps them warm in winter. Their paws work as a snowy shoes. They have very long tail which is warp around their whole body which keep them more warmth. They can't roar, they have main call said to be piercing which so loud and heard over the roar of river. They mostly prey on blue sheep. Other wise they prey on hares, birds, small rodent, Himalayan tahr and marmot.
