In order to learn more about Alessia's artistic path and to investigate her creative process, Bored Panda contacted her once again. Even if her animal images are really cute and appear to be perfect, Alessia acknowledged that it's not always simple to create them. She occasionally has trouble capturing their distinct appearance and personality, which might lengthen the process. Poodles and Maltese dogs are the most common breeds affected. Perhaps their'mustache' is the reason I find it difficult to grin completely. They frequently appear depressed or overly solemn, which is not the appropriate Disney feel. I either open Google and seek into more Disney instances, or I start looking into my own previous commissions where I was successful.

They are no longer as difficult for Alessia because cats and dogs make up 99 percent of her commissions. But when it comes to the hardest creatures to Disneyfy, she said some customers ask for photographs of their birds, chinchillas, or pet rats. "That’s more challenging because I’m not really used to drawing them, but at the same time, I never say 'no' to a good challenge."

"I draw dogs and cats every day and I am very comfortable with them. But this is just a personal preference that doesn’t impact my 'professional side' of work. Any other pets are always more than welcome!"

Drawings with complicated backgrounds take Alessia more time to finish. "Many times it takes me an hour to fully complete a pet, and then two days for the background. But like I said, I love challenges!"

According to Alessia, her workstation is pretty basic. "I use my iPad and laptop to work on a corner of my desk. I would say that the coffee maker in front of me is my morning boost.
