12 times, people had to snap a photo of adorable animals flashing their "Disney Eyes."

Disney's animal icons, such as Bambi, Simba, and the cute 101 Dalmatians, all have one thing in common if you look closely at them.

It is the eyes that are larger than the entire globe. It makes sense why a short while ago, the Snapchat filter that gave users big eyes and exaggerated facial characteristics was so popular on social media.

Pets with incredibly adorable characteristics that resemble real-life Disney characters are the focus of the "Disney Eyes" Reddit forum. Scroll down and upvote your favourite photos from our compilation of the most healthy images posted to the community!

Shall We All Agree That What Ever She Wants She Can Have It?

Lisa Yaszek, a Regents Professor of Science Fiction Studies at Georgia Tech, who studies and teaches science fiction as a universal language that transcends centuries, continents, and cultures, was contacted by Bored Panda. She provided some fascinating insights into why Disney characters are so endearing to people worldwide and what it is about their eyes that draws us in.

According to Lisa, "Disney animal characters are anthropomorphic, familiar, and portrayed as naturally helpful, which makes them appealing to all audiences."

"It's not surprising that Disney artists would do this as well," she added, adding that "since the dawn of recorded civilisation, humans have told stories about animals and other nonhuman beings with human characteristics, often to promote some kind of sympathetic identification with something that otherwise seems truly alien and unknowable."
